UK Student Visa fees for applications made on or after 4 October 2023 will be increased. This was announced by the UK Home Office on 15 September 2023 in line with the UK government’s anticipations earlier this year.
This increase will affect fees for many immigration routes including Student and Visitor routes applications. The following are some of the fees that will be affected by this increase:
- Student and child student visa – increase to £490
- Visitor visa – increase to £115
- Graduate route application – increased to £822
Some other visas are also affected by the rise in fees including priority services, Skilled Worker and Global Talent routes.
As well, an increase to the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) is expected to be confirmed later in the Autumn. The IHS is expected to rise to £1035 per year in 2024.
